Trackman iO vs Uneekor EYE XO2: Choose the Software and Room Together

Compare two permanent overhead systems by software choice, club-data entitlement, hitting-area use and the complete installed quote.

Choose Trackman iO when the Trackman practice and course environment is the system you want to use. Choose Uneekor EYE XO2 when its large hitting zone, supported trouble-mat setup and access to compatible third-party software match your plans. Both choices need an approved overhead layout and a computer suited to the intended workload.

The useful comparison is the system you will use after installation. A sensor-only price can hide a different software entitlement, a missing connector plan or a computer upgrade. Ask both quotes to describe the same room, display resolution and practice goals.

The decisions that separate these systems

Purchase question Trackman iO Uneekor EYE XO2
Main software decision Which Trackman package supplies the required data and content? Which Uneekor plan and simulator application will you use?
Hitting-area decision Approved iO layout for the supplied configuration Published 28 × 21-inch hitting zone and supported trouble mats
Club-data decision Home versus Home Complete or Commercial entitlements Current data fields, software and recommended club preparation
Expansion decision Supported Trackman accessories and workflow Supported cameras, accessories and third-party integration
Installation decision Exact ceiling relationship to the hitting point Front overhead mounting relative to the hitting zone

This table describes purchasing differences. It is not an accuracy ranking: we have not conducted a controlled head-to-head measurement test for this article.

Start with the application you want to open

If Trackman's practice tools and course environment are the reason you are buying, evaluate the Trackman iO as that complete system. Do not assume a course application used with another monitor can simply be carried across. Verify support for every application you consider essential before choosing hardware.

If you want GSPro, the EYE XO2 appears on GSPro's official supported-device list. GSPro also states that Uneekor users need an active Pro Package subscription. That means the simulator license and the monitor's access plan are separate budget lines. A temporary premium trial does not make the continuing access cost zero.

For E6 or another application, repeat the same check using the exact monitor, application generation and license. Compatibility with one product carrying the E6 name does not establish compatibility with every E6 generation.

Compare the actual club measurements

Trackman's current technical page lists club speed for the iO Home package. Home Complete and Commercial include a broader club-data list, such as face angle, club path and attack angle. Therefore, an older comparison that labels Home as having no club data is too broad; an equally broad claim that every iO package provides the full set is also misleading.

For the XO2, Uneekor currently recommends club stickers for accurate club data and lists them as optional in its comparison table. Check your desired metrics and software version. Ask a demonstration to show the information you plan to use, not just a screen full of numbers.

Write a short list: club path, face angle, strike location or whichever fields matter to your practice. Mark each as available in the quoted configuration, dependent on preparation, or not included. That is a more reliable comparison than counting all displayed metrics, including calculated shot-flight results.

Put the hitting zone on the mat

The XO2's published 28 × 21-inch rectangle covers 588 square inches. That can be useful for supported rough-and-sand practice arrangements or flexible ball placement. It does not describe stance space, and it does not mean any point on a large mat can be tracked.

For each system, draw the approved hitting area and mounting point on the same plan as the screen and projector. Check the required height above the finished hitting surface. Include ceiling beams, lights and the complete swings of the intended players.

A shared right- and left-handed room can benefit from an overhead monitor, but the surrounding room must still accommodate both swings. A central sensor does not create missing room width.

Compare a three-year quote on equal terms

Request the monitor, selected software tier, course access, PC, mounting, cabling and any required accessories on separate lines. Add renewals during the same three-year period. If the first year is included, count the later renewals correctly rather than buying that first year twice on paper.

Keep hardware extras separate from optional coaching or entertainment features. If one quote includes swing cameras and the other does not, either add equivalent scope or remove the cameras from the initial comparison.

Choose the system whose software and layout fit your use, then confirm the complete price. A cheaper sensor is not the cheaper finished room when its quoted system leaves essential components out.
