Plan Golf Simulator Flooring Around Your Hitting Area
Choose a floor system or a landing pad
A complete flooring system and a landing pad solve different parts of a simulator build. SIGPRO Golf Simulator Flooring combines a hitting strip with a putting surface and cups in a model-specific layout. The SIG and HomeCourse landing pads cover the area below or in front of a compatible screen. A landing pad is not a substitute for a surface designed to take repeated club strikes.
Match the floor to the exact enclosure
Start with the enclosure model and the usable floor footprint. The SIG8, SIG10, SIG12 and SIG DIY landing pads are separate products with different dimensions. HomeCourse has its own landing-pad layout. Compare the actual product dimensions with the screen position, stance area and room access instead of choosing by a similar-looking photo.
Coordinate surface height and ball position
Plan the finished height of the hitting mat, landing surface and surrounding floor together. Follow your launch monitor’s instructions for its position relative to the ball and playing surface. Confirm whether a floor system supplies a hitting insert, whether an existing mat can remain in place and how the edges will meet before placing the order.
Allow room for installation and maintenance
Use the product instructions to prepare the supporting floor and assemble the selected layout. Keep access to removable components, cables and the screen clear. For a custom room, write down the required dimensions and compare them with the listed options before assuming a standard enclosure floor will fit.
| Floor component | Purpose | Compatibility check |
|---|---|---|
| SIGPRO Golf Simulator Flooring | A model-specific hitting and putting floor layout | Confirm the enclosure option, supplied hitting strip and full assembled dimensions. |
| SIG or HomeCourse landing pad | Coverage below or in front of the matching screen | Choose the exact enclosure or screen model; plan the full-swing mat separately. |
| Custom turf installation | A floor built from selected materials and a prepared base | Plan seams, finished heights, strike surface and edge treatment as one build. |
A pad that fits the screen width can still be the wrong depth or height for the hitting station. Measure the entire floor plan before choosing a matching-looking item.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a landing pad also a golf hitting mat?
Not necessarily. The landing pads here cover the area below or in front of a screen. Use a separate hitting mat unless the specific flooring product expressly includes a strike surface.
Does simulator flooring include an enclosure or launch monitor?
These listings are flooring components. Check the included items on the selected product; the enclosure, projection and tracking equipment require separate planning.
Can I use one SIG landing pad with every SIG enclosure?
Do not assume interchangeability. Match the product to the enclosure model and verify its width, depth and height.
What should I measure before buying simulator flooring?
Measure the available floor area, screen-to-ball layout and finished surface heights. Include swing clearance and the launch monitor’s installation requirements.
