Identify the mounting option and deployed footprint, then check the retraction path and screen use before playing.
Identify both the product and mounting method
G-TRAK products in IGK’s catalog include the retractable net, impact screen, golf target and wall-mount kit. Confirm which items are on your order and which mounting arrangement the instructions describe. A net or target is not automatically a projector-ready impact-screen package.
Use G-TRAK’s official assembly resources for the specific configuration. Check the dimensions and attachment requirements before purchasing or installing a mounting accessory.
Measure the room in both states
Sketch the deployed equipment and the stored equipment. Include garage-door travel, tracks, openers, lights, shelves and the swing path. A unit fitting against a ceiling when stored does not prove that its lowered screen will clear the golfer or that the door can safely travel around it.
For a garage-track arrangement, follow the manufacturer’s specified track measurement and bracket procedure. Do not alter door springs, counterbalance hardware or other door-system components as part of an improvised installation. For a wall mount, verify the supporting structure and fixings required by the documented system.
Commission it without a ball
After installation, follow the manufacturer’s operating sequence and observe the full travel from a safe position. Check for uneven movement, interference, folded material or cable obstruction. Keep people, clubs and loose objects clear of the moving equipment.
If the material rolls unevenly or the mechanism strains, stop and investigate the documented adjustment process. Repeatedly running a jammed mechanism is not a diagnosis.
Check the playing configuration
Confirm that the intended ball-impact area, top/side containment and clearances are ready before practice. Verify that the supplied target or impact material is being used for its stated purpose. A projected picture on a material does not establish that it is suitable to receive shots.
Then establish projector image fit and launch-monitor placement from their separate instructions. Do not move the ball dangerously close to the screen to compensate for a lens that cannot fill it from the current mount.
Keep a reliable daily routine
Inspect the deployment area, fully position the equipment as directed, verify the bay is clear, and only then begin practice. Before retraction, remove loose objects and check the material’s path. If you need help, send the model, mounting arrangement, relevant room measurements and photos of the installed brackets and deployed screen.
