A compatibility checklist for projector mounts, launch-monitor covers, baffles, curtains, pads and camera accessories.

Compatibility has more than one dimension

A mounting accessory can match a bolt pattern and still be unsuitable for the load, orientation, structure or available clearance. A protective cover can fit around a device and still obstruct a sensing area if installed incorrectly.

Before fitting anything, identify the accessory, the exact host model and any enclosure family or generation it requires. Keep all three names on the support request or order worksheet.

For projector mounts

Check the projector’s approved mounting points, permitted orientation, weight and ventilation. Compare them with the mount’s rated use and installation instructions. A frame-mounted kit also depends on the compatible frame and its allowed loading; a ceiling drop mount depends on the structure above the finish material.

For floor-mounted projector enclosures, verify internal fit, lens opening, airflow, cable routing and the position relative to clubs, feet and balls. A protective shell does not remove the need for safe placement.

For launch-monitor covers and mounts

Match EYE XO, EYE XO2, EYE MINI LITE, VTrack or Trackman iO explicitly. Similar product names do not establish interchangeability. Follow the intended orientation and ensure the accessory does not cover cameras, illumination, ventilation, ports or calibration reference points.

After fitting, repeat the device’s normal readiness and tracking checks. If installation changes the physical position, follow the manufacturer’s recalibration requirements.

For room protection

Accessory Check before use
Baffle Intended enclosure, location, attachment and clearance.
Foam or wall padding Material purpose, coverage and compatible fixing surface.
Curtain and ceiling track Supporting structure, approved loading and movement path.
Blackout layer Whether it is optical backing only or intended for impact protection.
Landing pad Floor coverage and transitions; whether it is intended for club strikes.
Net cover Storage/weather purpose; remove or arrange as the manufacturer directs.

For camera lenses and connections

Match the lens mount, camera model, software and planned view. A zoom lens can change framing but does not establish camera compatibility or the required capture speed. Check cable and port requirements before adding a hub or extension.

Stop before an improvised modification

If a hole pattern, pipe size, case opening or attachment point does not match, confirm the parts before drilling, trimming or substituting hardware. Structural mounting questions should be resolved with the manufacturer’s instructions and a suitable installer.

Send a photo of the host product label, the accessory label and the planned position. That gives support enough information to assess the actual combination instead of guessing from a close-up of a screw.
