Choose the model-specific folding method and check the frame, target and side protection before practice.

Match the net size to the instructions

SPG-5, SPG-7 and SPG-8 are different sizes. Use Spornia’s setup and take-down resource for the model on your bag or order. The manufacturer provides a separate two-person folding method for SPG-8; do not assume the easiest method for a smaller net is best for the XL frame.

Clear a work area before opening the bag. A spring frame needs room to open and should be handled in the documented sequence, away from faces, pets and bystanders.

Inspect before adding a ball

Check the frame, sleeves, poles, seams and impact target for damage or incorrect assembly. Confirm every support is seated as the model instructions show. Position the net on an appropriate stable surface and fit the supplied target or compatible sheet correctly.

Side-net extensions add coverage but do not make every room layout safe. Check low shots, high mishits and both intended golfer positions. Keep valuables and people outside possible escape paths.

Use a simulator target sheet for its stated purpose

If you are adding the Spornia Golf Simulator Target Sheet, verify its fit and required net configuration. Do not assume any white sheet is an impact screen. Establish the net’s safe operating arrangement before trying to fit the projector image to it.

Follow the target-sheet attachment instructions without overloading the frame or blocking the net’s designed movement. A dark, sharp projected image does not prove the material is installed correctly for ball impact.

Folding: follow the visual method

Use the official video or illustrated sequence for your size. Work through the stages slowly with the net empty and poles removed where the instructions require it. If the frame resists or twists unexpectedly, stop and reset the arrangement. Do not force the frame into the bag or pull it into an unfamiliar bend.

For SPG-8, use the documented two-person method when appropriate. Keep hands and faces clear of a frame that may spring open during take-down.

Dry storage and wear checks

Follow Spornia’s guidance for cleaning, drying and storage. Inspect the high-impact area before each session and stop if a tear, loose seam or frame defect compromises containment. Do not continue full shots while waiting for a replacement target or damaged part.

Send IGK the model, photos of the frame and target attachment, and the step where folding or assembly stops matching the guide. For mats used with the net, check Mat and floor setup.
