Choose the exact model, check radar placement and distinguish standalone readings from app or simulator connectivity.

SC4 is not SC4 PRO

Read the model label before choosing an app, update guide or manual. The original SC4, SC300i and SC200 PLUS in IGK’s catalog have separate manual entries. Instructions for SC4 PRO should not automatically be applied to SC4.

The models also do not offer an identical set of measurements or software features. A practice reading on the device and support for course-play software are different capabilities.

Establish the physical setup first

Use the documented distance and position behind the ball for your exact model. Keep the unit aligned with the target line and compare its height with the hitting surface. A raised mat can change the setup even when the floor appears level.

For indoor use, follow the model’s indoor-space requirements and the enclosure’s safety clearances. Do not move the ball closer to the screen simply to make room behind the golfer without checking both systems.

Test standalone readings

Select the correct practice settings and club where the model requires them. Use a consistent ball and controlled shot. Check whether the device records a reading before investigating an app. If a reading seems different from another system, verify units, selected club and whether you are comparing carry distance or total distance.

Add the app or simulator

Choose the app and pairing process specified for the model in Voice Caddie’s current guide. Complete pairing within the documented workflow; an entry in the phone’s Bluetooth list does not always mean the correct app session is active.

If standalone readings work but the app does not receive them, investigate pairing and permissions. If the app works but course software does not, check the supported integration and license. Do not buy simulator software for SC200 PLUS or SC300i solely because a different Swing Caddie model supports it.

When readings become intermittent

Recheck alignment, device/ball height, distance, power state and the documented indoor environment. Note whether all shots fail or only certain clubs or ball positions. For updates or resets, use the model-specific official procedure; button combinations differ.

The SC200/SC200 PLUS, SC300/SC300i and SC4 pouches in the catalog are protective storage accessories. Remove any cover that obstructs operation and verify fit against the exact model.

Send the model, app version, indoor/outdoor setup, placement photo and whether standalone readings work. These details distinguish a radar setup question from an app connection issue.
