Find the correct documentation, separate optical controls from digital correction and troubleshoot the picture in a repeatable order.

Use the manual that lists your model

IGK’s Epson range includes L690E, L690SE, L690SU, L695SE, L695SU, L790SE, L795SE, L890E and L895E. Epson groups several models in shared documentation, but individual controls and lens specifications can still differ. Look for your model in the applicable section or table.

For LG, use the BU53RG support page and match the regional model suffix where the download asks for it. A business projector’s extensive controls are useful only after the basic geometry is right.

Separate four jobs

Job What to check
Place the equipment Approved mount, orientation, ventilation and lens distance.
Position the optical image The model’s zoom, shift and focus controls, where available.
Correct remaining geometry Supported digital correction, after physical alignment.
Deliver the content Computer output mode, cable path and simulator display settings.

Do not ask digital correction to compensate for a lens outside its operating range. Use the manufacturer’s projection-distance information with your intended aspect ratio; a shared family manual does not make all lenses interchangeable.

Establish the picture

Start with one directly connected computer and the projector’s internal pattern or menu. Confirm orientation, then image size and focus. Enable the projector as a display in the operating system and choose a supported timing. Only then add the control monitor, adapters and simulation software.

For models that include network tools, remember that control over a network and the HDMI video signal are different functions. A projector appearing online does not prove that the correct video input is active. Likewise, the computer detecting a display does not prove the simulator is rendering to it.

Preserve a diagnostic baseline

Photograph the working picture and record resolution, refresh rate, image mode and any geometry adjustments. If an update or cable change causes a problem, compare with this baseline. When color or sharpness is wrong, test a known image outside the simulator before changing the whole bay.

Use No signal for a missing desktop and Image fit for cropping or softness. For persistent shutdowns or indicator errors, record the exact pattern and contact support with the model and serial number. Follow the maintenance instructions for that projector; do not assume a sealed-laser design eliminates every external ventilation check.
