A staged commissioning checklist that keeps enclosure, projector, computer and launch-monitor setup in the right order.

Make an inventory from your actual order

Use your order confirmation and selected options as the starting point. A package name is not a complete packing list: pipes, mounts, computers, mats, software and accessories can depend on the configuration purchased.

Packages may contain products from several manufacturers and arrive in separate cartons. Record each item, its model and the carton it arrived in. Photograph damage and keep packaging while you reconcile the delivery. Use Delivery and missing-item help for the order-specific next step.

Stage 1: establish the room and impact area

Confirm the enclosure’s actual outer dimensions, the usable screen area, the final mat height and the hitting position. Account for the tallest intended golfer and longest club, plus equipment and obstructions. Our Simulator Calculator helps plan the layout; the component manufacturers’ clearances still apply.

Assemble the enclosure or net with its model-specific instructions. Check impact protection, screen attachment, floor transitions and the area behind the screen before testing shots. Do not use a projected picture as evidence that the impact area is ready.

Stage 2: prove the image path

Connect the computer and projector before fine-tuning simulator graphics. Show a desktop or test pattern, establish physical alignment and check image fit. Leave the final mount position until lens distance, beam clearance and swing clearance all work together.

Stage 3: install the launch monitor

Follow the exact device’s mounting, leveling, connection and calibration process. The final floor and mat arrangement should already be in place. Keep overhead sensing areas and floor-device sightlines clear.

Stage 4: verify a shot in the device application

When the bay is safely assembled, confirm the device’s ready state and test a shot using its supported native range. Record the result. If this stage fails, troubleshoot the launch monitor before introducing another software layer.

Stage 5: connect the simulator application

Activate the purchased software, confirm the supported hardware integration and test a practice session. Add extra displays, cameras and higher graphics settings after the basic setup works.

Keep a five-line handover record

Stage Record before moving on
Structure Enclosure model, completed assembly checks and final mat position.
Picture Projector model, lens distance and working output resolution.
Device Launch-monitor model, calibration status and connection method.
First shot Which application recorded it and whether tracking was repeatable.
Course play Software edition, working integration and graphics preset.

If you need help, send the last completed stage and the first failed one. That is more actionable than describing the entire package as “not working.”
