Use the exact enclosure or kit plan, prepare the documented lifting team and establish the finished hitting surface before electronics setup.
Choose the exact document
SimBooth’s resource library separates SimBooth 1, SimBooth 2 and the corresponding Kit and 4K Kit guides. Match the purchased configuration before assembly. A complete simulator kit can include components absent from an enclosure-only order.
Use the current 2D plan to check the room and the correct installation guide to identify parts and assembly steps. Keep the order contents alongside the manual while you unpack.
Prepare for the lifting steps
Do not use a broad “easy assembly” description to decide how many people are required. The SimBooth 2 structure manual calls for four people for the relevant assembly process. Follow the staffing, ladder and tool instructions in the exact guide that applies to your kit.
Clear the work area, identify the panel orientations and lay out labelled hardware before lifting. If a component does not align as shown, compare the diagram and part identity instead of enlarging a hole or substituting hardware.
Treat the finished floor as a reference
For a configuration with floor sections and a hitting insert, follow the specified order and height-adjustment instructions. Check that the final striking surface is seated correctly and stable. The final surface becomes the reference for launch-monitor mounting and player clearance.
Do not calibrate tracking hardware against a temporary floor height and then add turf or shims afterward without repeating the required checks. A small physical change can affect a precisely positioned sensor even when the enclosure still looks square.
Add screen and electronics in sequence
Install the impact surface and containment components using the correct orientation and attachment method. Confirm all clearances before fitting the projector or sensor. Verify the image and tracking as separate systems: a correctly projected course does not prove the launch monitor is aligned.
For a GolfIn IDRA II, follow its own installation guide from the same resource library. Use IDRA II setup to organize that workflow. Do not treat a SimBooth enclosure diagram as the complete calibration instructions for the sensor.
Record the completed arrangement
Keep photos of the structure, floor joints, screen attachment and equipment position. Save the selected manual and configuration with the order record. If the enclosure will be dismantled later, label components according to the documented assembly so they can be matched again.
If you find a mismatch, send the SimBooth model, kit/enclosure designation, the affected part label and a wide photo showing where it belongs. Wait for clarification before altering a structural component.
