Match the SIGPRO flooring kit to its own SIG8, SIG10 or SIG12 panel plan before attaching the turf. Assemble and inspect the numbered base first, then verify the cups and hitting-strip opening against the supplied turf. Complete the finished floor before calibrating a launch monitor.

Which floor plan matches your kit?

Published SIGPRO floor dimensions and panel layout references
Floor kit Published overall floor size Base layout Manual
SIG8 9 ft 8 in wide × 15 ft 6 in deep × 2.375 in high 40 numbered panels; first row 1–5; eight rows. SIG8 PDF
SIG10 11 ft 7 in wide × 15 ft 6 in deep × 2.375 in high 48 numbered panels; first row 1–6; eight rows. SIG10 PDF
SIG12 13 ft 6 in wide × 15 ft 6 in deep × 2.375 in high 56 numbered panels; first row 1–7; eight rows. SIG12 PDF

These are flooring dimensions in the linked manuals, not recommended room dimensions or swing-clearance measurements. Compare the order, delivered labels and supplied instructions before using this table. The floor’s full outline extends beyond the nominal width in the enclosure name.

Each manual lists putting cups, corner caps, a hitting strip, fitted turf and carpet tape alongside the base panels. Inventory the actual shipment before starting. If a supplied revision differs, establish which plan applies rather than combining numbered pieces from two diagrams.

Assemble the numbered base before fixing the turf

Use the manual’s orientation drawing to identify the screen end and the curved player end. Sort straight-edge, corner, cup and hitting-opening panels before joining the rows. The SIG8, SIG10 and SIG12 plans use different row widths; copying the first row of another size shifts every subsequent location.

Follow the numbered sequence on a clean, prepared supporting surface. Leave the intended hitting-strip opening in the arrangement shown for your size. Keep the turf loose until the complete base and its openings have been checked. Photograph the exposed panel numbers before the turf hides them.

Base inspection before adhesive or turf placement
Check A useful pass condition If it does not match
Orientation The screen end, curved end and hitting opening agree with the correct size drawing. Recheck the first row and specialty-panel positions.
Joints Neighboring connections are seated and the base does not rock at that joint. Inspect the mating edges and the surface beneath; do not conceal the mismatch with turf.
Cups and opening The actual preformed locations agree with the supplied turf’s intended openings. Photograph the whole base and the affected panel labels before attaching anything permanently.
Room access The floor outline leaves the planned equipment route and access points usable. Resolve the room layout before placing the enclosure on the floor.

A specific SIG12 manual discrepancy to check

In the linked SIG12 PDF, printed page 7, which is PDF page 10, lists cup-panel numbers that do not agree with its accompanying SIG12 illustration. Do not use that text line alone to relocate a cup or cut a new opening.

Compare your supplied panel labels, preformed cup positions and matching turf with the documentation in your shipment. If they do not reconcile, send photographs to IGK support for confirmation with the manufacturer before taping or modifying the floor. This guide deliberately does not substitute a guessed set of cup locations for the inconsistent instruction.

Check the cups, turf and hitting strip as one fit

The manuals place cup installation and the specified tape before the final turf placement, then seat the hitting strip. During your dry fit, check every intended opening together. Aligning one cup while the others drift can indicate the wrong orientation or an unresolved base layout.

After the correct arrangement is established, follow the applicable manual’s fixing sequence. Keep the hitting opening visible as you position the turf. Do not enlarge the opening or trim the supplied strip to compensate for an unexplained mismatch.

Diagnose the location of a fit problem
What you see Inspect before changing the turf
One cup opening does not align That cup panel’s position, orientation and seating.
Several openings shift in the same direction The overall turf orientation and whether the base matches the ordered size.
The hitting strip sits proud on one edge The opening, support and whether a folded turf edge or unseated panel interferes.
A ridge follows a panel joint The joint and supporting surface beneath that location.
The floor moves when loaded The assembled base, supporting surface and the manufacturer-approved installation method.

These observations narrow the inspection; they are not permission to alter a component. For a replacement insert with different dimensions or backing, use the separate four-measurement fit check.

Place the enclosure and establish the finished-height reference

The flooring manuals position the matching enclosure at the rear of the completed floor. Use the floor and enclosure instructions together, with the appropriate assistance for positioning the frame. Do not drag an assembled enclosure across finished turf to resolve an earlier orientation error.

Measure the completed hitting surface after the strip is seated. The published 2.375-inch floor height is a planning reference, not a substitute for checking the actual surface used by your launch monitor. If its mounting instructions measure from the hitting surface, use that finished reference.

For example, adding a raised floor beneath an unchanged ceiling mount reduces the vertical distance from that mount to the hitting surface. Record the new distance before calibration. The VTrack mounting guide explains its own H/L reference; do not reuse a measurement taken from the bare room floor.

Finish with a floor installation record

Keep this with the order and manual
Record What makes it useful later
Kit and revision SIG8, SIG10 or SIG12; order configuration; the supplied manual or plan.
Base photograph Panel numbers and all intended openings visible before turf installation.
Finished photographs All cups, the hitting-strip edges, enclosure position and transitions to the room floor.
Surface measurements Completed strike-surface height and the launch monitor’s required reference measurement.
Unresolved differences Missing labels, damaged connections or a drawing conflict, with the affected part identified.

Choose the exact floor variant on the SIGPRO flooring product page and check its footprint before ordering. An enclosure-only order and a floor kit are separate configurations. For frame, surround and screen attachments, continue to the SIG enclosure assembly guide.
